Scratch built vertical shaft mining complex.  Skip car built from .015 Evergreen sheet with Grant Line conical rivets.

Custom built version of JV Models "Burnt River Mine"  Features which were added to the kit include new roofing, waste chute, metal delivery chutes, an outhouse and a reworking of the office area to a more used look.

Inspired by a Model Railroader article this is a brine works.  Features included four brine tanks, one of which was modeled empty with scale thickness walls and another partially full complete with cucumbers floating in the brine.  Open "office" desk complete with reciept book,  and Berkshire Valley platiform scale. 

Modeled with open doors showing open stud walls on the interior.  Piece was done so that the interior of the handcar shed could be detailed out by the customer.  Entire structure was built up board by board including the shed doors which are a scale 1" thick"

Built from drawings in a 1961 Model Railroader.  Features included setting the tank on short pilings to raise the entire structure up above the ground.  Tank is clad in scale 2x8's.

Sand house sheathed board by board in 1x12's, bin built from 3x12's.  Dry sand tank features Grant Line rivets and scratch built butterfly release valve.
