MD Custom Models

Matt is a retired architect and hobby shop owner who is now a full time custom model builder  I have been doing custom work for the past 9 years with clients all over the country.  I started model railroading in the mid-60's and spent 30 years in HO, but recently switched to O and am now in the process of building an On30 layout set in 1911.

I specialize in custom designs, either yours or ours, but also can build to exact prototype when needed.  Our wood structures are usually built with board by board constuction and can be finished to any level of detail desired up to and including full interiors for whatever period you desire.
